upLIFT - Coaching & Stability Support
The upLIFT program helps adults build confidence, stability, and self-sufficiency through coaching, goal setting, food access, and wrap-around community support.
upLIFT Coaching. A Way Forward When Life Feels Stuck.
When you’re constantly putting out fires, it can feel impossible to think about the future. Bills pile up. Stress takes over. Confidence slips. And even when you’re doing your best, it still feels like you’re barely keeping your head above water.
At Lebanon County Christian Ministries, we believe people were made for more than survival. The upLIFT program exists to help you regain your footing, rediscover your strengths, and move toward a life that feels stable, hopeful, and sustainable.
More Than Help for Today
upLIFT is a free coaching program designed to help adults move beyond crisis and into long-term stability. This isn’t a quick fix or a one-time appointment. It’s a relationship built over time, focused on helping you make meaningful changes that last.
Through one-on-one coaching, practical resources, and consistent encouragement, upLIFT helps you take the next right step, then the next one after that. Progress doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen when you’re not walking alone.
What Coaching Looks Like
Every upLIFT participant works closely with a coach who takes time to understand their story, strengths, and challenges. Together, you’ll create a personalized plan that reflects your goals and your reality.
Your Coach Will Help You:
- Identify what’s holding you back and what you already bring to the table
- Set clear, realistic goals that actually feel achievable
- Break overwhelming challenges into manageable steps
- Build habits that support lasting change
- Stay focused and encouraged when life gets difficult
- Gain confidence through a supportive, judgment-free relationship
This process isn’t about perfection.
It’s about momentum.
Practical Support That Reinforces Progress
Change is easier when your basic needs are met. upLIFT combines coaching with tangible support to reduce stress and create breathing room.
Participants receive:
- Bi-weekly access to healthy groceries and personal hygiene items
- Wrap-around support connecting you to LCCM programs and trusted community resources
- Creative problem-solving to address unmet needs that may be slowing progress
These supports exist to strengthen the work you’re doing, not replace it.
A Proven Approach to Lasting Change
upLIFT is built on the More Than Food framework, a nationally recognized model that focuses on connection, choice, and dignity. Used by organizations across the country, this approach addresses the deeper causes of food insecurity and instability, helping people build healthier, more sustainable lives over time.
Who upLIFT Is For
upLIFT is open to adults aged 21 and older who are motivated to work toward greater stability and independence. The program is free for qualifying participants.
Submitting an application does not automatically enroll you in upLIFT. Every applicant meets with the upLIFT team first to ensure the program is the right fit and to determine eligibility.

How the Program Works
upLIFT is designed as a journey, not a transaction. Participants work with a coach over several months, allowing time for trust, growth, and real-life change.
STEP 1:
GAIN CLARITY
This is where your story matters. You’ll work with a coach to understand where you are now, where you want to go, and what’s been standing in the way. Together, you’ll identify strengths, patterns, and challenges that shape your current situation.
STEP 2:
BUILD A ROADMAP
Next, you and your coach create a plan. Goals are broken into realistic steps, and habits are developed to support long-term progress. You’ll also identify resources and supports that can help you stay on track.
STEP 3:
TAKE ACTION
This is where change begins to take root. With a coach walking alongside you, you’ll start putting your plan into motion, adjusting as needed, and building confidence along the way.
Real People. Real Progress.
Since launching in 2023, upLIFT has helped participants increase financial well-being, confidence, and overall life stability.
